Access Legislation
Access to the archives held at the GSA is free, in accordance with the terms set out in the new GSA Law (Law 4610/2019, Art. 194).
In cases where archival material contains sensitive personal data, researchers are required to complete the relevant solemn declaration.
The study of archival material is conducted exclusively within the GSA Reading Rooms.
The Reading Room of the Central Service (C.S.) of the GSA operates on all working days from 09:00 to 15:00. In exceptional cases of closure, a relevant announcement is posted on the GSA website (see Home Page → Announcements).
Note: Archival material is issued between 09:00 and 15:00.
As there may be minor variations in visiting hours at the Regional Services of the GSA, please contact each Service by phone and/or consult their respective websites.
